Driver Safety Assessment Fees

NYS Deptartment of Motor Vehicles will impose Driver Safety Assessment Fees on any driver who accumulates more than "6 points" in any 18 month period (from date of offense).  The fees begin at $100/year for 3 years (for 6 points) and increase by $25/year for 3 years for each additional point.  All fees are in addition to any fines imposed by a court.

7 pts=$375

8 pts=$450

9 pts=$525
